"I had a lower facelift by Dr. Portuese about five years ago when I was
51. The results are great and the scars virtually invisible. One looks quite
awful for about a week after the surgery, but I had a social gathering at my
home on the 11th day post op and looked great! About 3 weeks post op I was
having lunch in a restaurant and a person I had not seen for 15 years came
over and asked if I was who she thought I was. When I said yes she said she
had seen me come in but did not think it could be me because I should have
aged in 15 years! Needless to say I am glad I had the surgery and will always
continue to "maintain" my face when it looks like I need it." -
